LEDs can be used as PHOTODIODEs.
We can get 2D distribution of brightness using LED matrix.

but I think this is halfway job...

    yes,I calculated the light intensity by measuring the discharge time of the leds.

    I didn't use buffer circuit. all anodes and cathodes are directly-connected to arduino.

  • @gyusan hi, do you sell this 2d photodiode array? I am looking for some larger array, says at least 8x8, silicon array? Do you have any manufacturer to recommend? Thanks.

  • It looks like you are using a green matrix. Did you calculate the light intensity using the discharge time of the LEDs?

  • schematic? did you use an op-amp or anything besides the arduino?
