As far as I know, all new incinerators clean particles and recycling is oen option, but face it, it is not possible to recycle everything. The alternatives to boost our economy is well stated in all the the videos I have compiled in my channel.

Dr. Connet can't even recycle the plastic shell of the microphone he's talking into. There are endless tons of different plastics and there is no recycling technology for most of them. They go to landfills and stay intact there long after our bones are dust.

Dr. Connett 's passion for the topic on incineration, dioxins and furans has not waned a bit ...ten years ago he was as eloquent! i am amazed!

the alternative to waste incineration is not landfill... its another backend approach to the waste problem... waste according to Dr. Connett (who by the way, helped me with my college thesis), is a resource and the best way to deal with it is recycling, composting, reusing and reduction- an integrated approach...

im surprised someone hasnt purchased those old gas tanks that they used to use to make and store coal gasor built a massive tank, silo and filled it with trash. capture and filter the methane and burn it for electricity/ sell it to the national grid. would it not be possible to use this idea for just food waste which would produce methane and a supply of sellable compost?
anyone?

This is such bs.

and also the fly ash he talks about created by other incinerators have been burned in plasma converters into inert slag. plus you can use the immense heat created in the process to actually get a net electrical surplus which can be fed back into the grid to power homes and whatnot.

They need to research plasma converters. Similar to incinerators but without the negative effects. They liquify municial waste through superheater plasma without flame. the byproducts are obsideon-like glass slag that can be used in asphault or construction and syngas which consists of carbon monoxide and hydrogen. hydrogen= clean feul. carbon monoxide can be converted and used in safe ways. all toxic materials are rendered inert with zero leakage.

energy from waste = wasted energy

By the way: The building of an incinerator produces more waste that it could burn throughout its entire lifetime. There has been carried out a study in Germany about the subject stating clearly, that incinerators (no matter which tech you use) are waste of money and resources and a threat to our health.
