"Blood and Oil - The Middle East in World War I" exposes the Western greed and political intrigue which laid the foundation for wars, coups, revolts, oppressive dictators and military interventions in today's Middle East. Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, modern Turkey and other hot spots are born as the British and French divide the "fruits of victory" in World War I.
The film examines the devastating conflict and Western political intrigue that laid the foundation for wars, coups, revolts and military interventions in the Middle East. After the end of World War I, most of the Ottoman Empire was carved up into "spheres of influence," controlled mostly by the British and French. The remaining territories became the modern state of Turkey in 1923 - after a five-year struggle by Turkish nationalists against Western domination. Written and produced by Marty Callaghan ("Archives of War," "Remember Pearl Harbor: America Taken by Surprise"), this feature-length documentary film follows conflict from the Ottoman Empire's entry into the Great War in October 1914 to the Allied victory and declaration of the new Turkish Republic in 1923, and the hostilities that have plagued the region since. The 112-minute DVD also features extended expert commentary.
there was a genocide of the Armenian people in the the Ottoman Empire. starting April 24, 1915.

This video is the biggest Zionist Propaganda, they made it seem that this was all for oil, but it was they who started the First World War to capture Palestine. They broke up the Ottoman Empire, got the British to occupy Palestine and slaughtered millions of Christians.

This documentary tries to make a connection between the recent Iraq wars with past BRITISH wars over oil and imperialism. The US as the documentary pointed out, was isolationist and did not take part.
Actually, it only implies that there is a connection, because the documentary gave no argument or evidence of the current and recent Gulf wars has any connection with oil.
Just because there is oil in Iraq doesn't mean the war in Iraq is about oil. Mr. Callaghan's argument is weak and unfounded.
