go to ur university/college they should have a study abroad program dept. but you gotta make arrangements ahead. im also planning to do the same thing w/ a kcp program at my school. u might need good gpa though like 2.5 or 3.0 depend on the skul, also F.A. and student loan might help out with the costs...save up for ur personal expenses when u arrive in tokyo cause i hear its expensive!

question how did u get in this program this i need anyhting please i wanna try studying abroad so please tell me main things i need to kno thanxx
hey i've been wondering about this program. I emailed the dean who constructs this program but i wanted to talk to people who have actually done it before. I'm a senior fixing to start my first year of college and im thinking of attending this program after my four years of college are up. I think your videos would give me a good idea about this, but im thinking about staying with a host family, what do u think? Dorm or family?

@BarrelracerChamp45 I would say staying with a host family will probably give you more exposure to Japanese culture as well as more opportunity to practice speaking Japanese with your host family members. The only reason I chose dorm is because of my dietary restrictions. I didn't want to offend or make a host family feel uncomfortable because I don't eat meat.
Go for it man, great experience.

I wish I would have found these videos before my daughter left for Japan today. It looks like you survived and I hope she does too!

@jwnulf I'm sure your daughter will do great. Is she there studying or just visiting? Japan as a whole is pretty safe and as cities go Tokyo is one of the safest in the world. I'm sure your daughter will have a blast.
