Like a 2012 caddy without a motor, sure it looks nice but not much can be done with it.

The pan is not hot enough , so the non-stick oil absorbed into the egg ....making the cooking messy. I know...I did that a few times , till I figured it out o my own ! If that oil sizzles....its ready !

throw the egg shells in the garden

To much heat loss through the uninsulated pipe the pan is sitting on. Good possibilities with refinement.

not enough heat on the pan though nice looking setup
-
love the modular setup

Thats not rocket stove. You created 2 outlet which divided the heat. A better design would be to place the exhaust tube near to the cooking area. Then you made the mistake of using a long tunnel between the fire and the cooking column - way too much heat lost.

I was just showing how in a pinch the top of the stove can be removed for cooking. When the top is replaced the convection circulation is restored. But, no doubt you are correct with your comments. This was just me learning. Galvanized shouldn't be used either due to toxic fumes. Also the construction was driven by common component sizes that weren't ideal. But nevertheless the fire did get sucked up the insulated post burn tube, and then turn down the radiant tube and then up!
