UPDATE 8-27-11 RECENTLY DID 365 FOR 8 SETS 1 REP 30 SEC REST BUT WAS NOT EVEN PUSHING MYSELF. I USE STRAPS FOR CONVENIENCE NOT BECAUSE I HAVE A WEAK GRIP. IT'S JUST LIKE USING GLOVES TO WORK OUT , CONVENIENCE. I DO GRIP TRAINING WITH COC.

Recently did 370 for 3 sets x 1.

I have reached a point in my strength training that I no longer have anything else to prove to myself at a 150 lb body weight. I have accomplished all of my strength goals. I'm not a powerlifter nor do I have plans of competing. There is only so much that I can do at a 150 lb bodyweight and nethier am I looking to push for more relative strength. I will not be adding more videos any time soon at least not for now. Maybe later when I get to 170-180 lbs. Today is Monday 15 th 2011, over the weekend I realized that my training is not what it use to be anymore. I'm strong but at the same time I feel tired mentally and physically. I have taken off time from training before but this wont be time off from training more like hitting more reps for a couple of months or weeks. I'm pretty burnt out on strength training. I no longer will I be pushing as much. I just need a mental break and physical break. My body has been pounding heavy weights for a long time and right now I feel is the right time for me to just chill. My left tricep and left shoulder are also something that has been bothering me for a few months now and I think its over all just a good idea to take it easy for a couple of months. I already accomplished all of my strength goals, I have nothing to prove to myself at a 150 lbs body weight. Maybe next week I will change my mind but as of now I don't have any plans of changing my thoughts about this. My body is tried and so is my mind from strength training.

If at first you don't succeed , try again. I could have easily lifted this with sumo deadlift. I got it this time with 1. A calorie deficit 2. Conventional 3. 10 days off (loss strength) . I started using straps to focus more on my lifting. P.S I was too lazy to edit this video. I figure I would just write the info here. I don't need a fancy movie for a 1 min video LOL.

  • @nealo786 I would presume you could do 365 lbs given that you weigh 24 lbs more than me. Please do upload videos so we can see what you can do. I USE STRAPS FOR CONVENIENCE NOT BECAUSE I HAVE A WEAK GRIP. IT'S JUST LIKE USING GLOVES TO WORK OUT , CONVENIENCE. I DO GRIP TRAINING WITH COC.

  • using straps on 365 is weak my friend sorry. I'm 174 lbs. and do that weight and i do not use straps or a belt...you should really stop using them and develop grip strength so you don't have to rely on them for low weight such as 365. please don't be offended---this isn't a "hater" comment, but your lift was not overly impressive...sorry.

  • @pspsp5 I don't consider my grip weak, not too long ago did I change my mentality about straps.. back in the days I use to think straps were for people who had a weak grip now my mentality of how I see straps has really changed. I have noticed that I focus more on my lift when using straps. Also I have not had many clauses from using straps. Anyhow, recently hit this for 8 sets and I was not even pushing myself. I can close number 1 coc with both hands.... but whos counting numbers ....

  • Whats with the straps? Is your grip weak?

  • @kingofcraig Thanks, I recently did 370 for 3 sets.

  • Man you are crazy, you're one strong dude :)
