Pellet guns fire .177, .22 or .33 pellets. BB guns fire 4.5mm metal BBs as the same velocity as a pellet gun. Airsoft guns fire 6mm BBs specially designed to shoot at people without causing serious damage at slightly less than a pellet or BB gun.

Low end pellet/BB guns fire at around 500fps. High-end airsoft snipers also fire at around 500fps.
