  • I like your approach to this. By using the medical tubing as your drive belt you have over come the drag of the stiffer belt. I look forward to your next video on this project.

  • @johnnnyreb51 i use this flexible belt cause turn very easy on low wind

  • I really like your videos. You take the time to explain things and show the details in your video. I like the design of your turbine as well. No matter what direction the wind is coming from, your turbine will spin. I'm just looking into building one and new to all this energy saving stuff but so far, I like this design....simple to build out of easy to find materials. Thanks for sharing!

  • @kamots22 sometime money stop me from doing projects, but life keep going and we have to learn more, and stop depending on ac electricity

  • Great innovation. That's exactly the kind of thing more people need to think about. It's too bad the town won't let you put it up another 30 feet. Has it provided you with any power yet?

  • @04023088 sorry but where i live there is not wind at all, sometimes 5 or 10 milles wind, many houses around me block the wind

  • How much does it cost to build this wind turbine generator?

Please advise. Please contact me at ualduc@yahoo.com

    Thanks

    Duc

  • @melecio1 - Wouldn't it help if you used a bigger drive pulley? The bigger the drive pulley, the faster the generator turns, right? I love your design. The vertical turbines work more efficiently, in my opinion.

  • Good job! Its about time someone posts something worthwhile on this topic. Most other posts are just spinning their wheels (literally), but you at least show how you did it and got it working.

I have something similar in design but am aiming for 10KW capacity and using a zero cogging generator on a gear drive system. I'll post mine and show the details when mine is done.

  • thank you very much Mr. melecio...

i just got a topic for my final yr engineering project !!

    thnks again... :)

  • Very nice!

  • Very cool. I build a prototype out of 24" PVC about 6 ' tall.
