BMW Performance Exhaust on '11 335i coupe with N55 Engine, unitedBMWonline.com

BMW's performance exhaust system does sound different on the N55 engine as opposed to it's earlier N54.

@UnitedBMW Just my two cents but it is noticable. My brother has a 08 335 and I just got a newer loaner with the single and there is a small amount of lag, sick car either way.

@guzguz92 i prefer the n54 b.c it is a tuners dream and the new n55 turbo setup wont allow for as aggressive a remap. a jb4 will make an n54 car a beast and a tuned n54 will outperform the n55 im sad to say. and also those elephant ear mirrors are MUCH uglier and less sporty then what the n54's had. the only thing i like about the n55 is the new white and bright angel eyes...but that is a simple fix on any n54 car.
