First prototype Pan Tilt Panoramic Robot head based on the pan/tilt servos from ServoCity.com and an arduino microcontroller. All functions are remote controllable by laptop.

Todo: is adding a stepper to be able to control the zoom.

  • When I'm satisfied I can share some details if you want. I can also custom build one to sell you. Estimated price will then be between the 1700 and 2200 euro, the price depends on the fact if you want a standard panohead or a remote controlled version like the one in the video (with onboard Pc). Estimated prices are without a Photocamera (I'm using a Canon 450D)

  • I'm still developing the panorama robot, in this video it's the first testrun early this year and I already changed about 40% of the parts to suit my needs. Main issue was to keep the weight low for mounting the head on a 15 meter high telescopic mast.

    The main building parts are the pan/tilt rig from servocity and an arduino microcontroller, a view aluminium parts are custom made. The rest is all from local shops around.

  • Can you please share its making. Or its code?
