This month, Tanner Productions celebrates its 7th birthday, having been making movies since 2004. It all started with short Lego stop/start animations, the first one being an Indiana Jones spin-off. In the following eight months, I made countless Lego animations, eventually teaching myself 3D modelling and animation as the next logical step. I started doing a few live-action videos around 2005, though none of them were short films.
My first live-action short film, 'Summertime Killer' (2007), was made by three people (+ a composer) one afternoon in July. Since then, I/We have made several other well recieved shorts including the psychological horror, '4:02', moody sci-fi 'Escape Velocity' and the simply epic 'Roulette', a 70-minute film about gambling and luck which took a year to make.
This video is dedicated to all of you who have supported me throughout the years. Some of you are my relatives and my friends but a lot of you I have never met before and have never truly had to chance to show my gratitude for your continued support. So thank you, each and every one of you, my giving me the greatest satisfaction in what I do.
And, as a small token of my thanks, the end of this video contains an exclusive preview of the next Tanner Productions film, 'September Sun', which is currently being edited.
Thanks again :D
Here's to seven wonderful years and many, many more to come!
[Yes, the music is from Hans Zimmer's 'INCEPTION' soundtrack. You really ought to check it out and buy it!]
