Meh, this one was kind of sketchy in terms of my presentation. However, my thesis remains simply as this : We cannot safely say that we understand the universe and our world. We can only say that we understand them in human terms, in subjective terms. We only understand the universe in the best way that our evolutionary traits will allow us to understand it. We can't safely say, for sure, that the universe functions and behaves in the way we perceive it.

Things are not always as they seem.

  • Actually, the concept of "round" is objective. No matter what language or form you use to talk about the concept, the concept will exist. If humans didn't exist, the concept of round would have existed. So, the earth would still be the same shape, and therefore would still have the same concept. If i call that concept "round," maybe the word is subjective, but the concept isn't. The shape will be the shape even to, say, Martians.
