The prelude of the d-minor suite of J. S. Bach, BWV 1008. My transcription is based on the Anna Magdalena Bach manuscript of the six suites. I am playing on my own copy of an alto recorder by J. C. Denner. Like the original, my instrument has single holes. The performance is live and unedited. The drawing is by Annibale Carracci (1560-1609). Thank you for listening!
