Here I show you how to use the Marklin Mobile Station 2. It's a great machine, with numerous changes compared to the first version. 16 sound and solenoid functions can be controlled. Up to 11 locos can be controlled, with one of them being used from a loco card. Enjoy! Taken with a Flip MinoHD video camera.

  • This is a helpful video, thanks. I have many HO and 1 gauge engines in basement layouts, but only two old Mobile Stations v. 1. Thinking about a Mobile Station v. 2. It would be hard for me to justify the cost of the central station.

Oddly, I live very near the building on 16th Street, NW, that used to house the British School, and now houses the Washington Latin Charter School. I gathered from another video you posted that you used to attend those schools.

  • @jdpb63 Thanks for your comment. I have both the MS1 and MS2 that I'm now offering for sale. If you're interested, then please don't hesitate to contact me.

I went to the British School when it was at the Decatur campus, and I went to Washington Latin when they were on the Mass. Ave. campus. If I had stayed past 8th grade I would've ended up back at the Decatur campus, but it would've been called something different.

  • @Kingbuick Hi Tadzio.. My MS2 has broken down and it has to be sent to Germany for repair. Luckily , I have the CS2 with me so that I can continue running my trains.. :)

  • @Takanozana That's great that you have the CS2. I'm fine with the MS2, and so far it hasn't had any problems.

I''m planning to buy a new loco or set this summer, but I don't know what it'll be yet. Maybe the Baden IVh, BR 64, BR 24, E 10.12, or something else... :)

  • @KingBuick I recommend the Roco iCN...It 's really good.. :)

  • @Takanozana I'm in the process of buying the CS1, maybe with a software update. It's for an excellent price, but it's brand new, in the original box. Hope it works out. :)
