Their are literaly thousands of these japenease swords around,this one is most probably an army isue one and not worth very much,ive seen and handled many just like it,there should be a seriel number on it at the top near the handle which can tell you were who it was isued to.Basicaly not very good quality,.Some high ranking officers carried family heirloom swords some of which dated to the 1600's,ive personal handled one taken from an officer dated at 1640 which is like new and priceless.

The point is with the alleged fortune of gold hoard, its impossible to carry that tons of gold over rough terrain, considering roads are non-existent nuong ww2, gets mo? 1/2 kilo gold & bigas are just our mental estimates on how heavy they could be, LET ALONE A TRUCKLOAD? @genericsfarm1127 i work with the mines here in baguio and we regularly ship gold, it takes an armored car to carry our shipment (can't tell you how much here, for security reason) but just several pieces can weigh down the car visually sagging down. so i know what i'm talking about!
