Amazing Grace played on a Tony Dixon low D Irish whistle. I'm really loving this whistle. Recorded in St. Thomas Cemetery in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sorry for the windy sound!! Wind kept blowing across the whistle, making the notes a little weak, too. The last third sounds the best IMHO, where I got the angle of the wind blocked finally. The wisdom of playing music in a graveyard the day before Samhain is debatable. :)

  • Thanks! Yeah, I am really in love with it. Its actually the Tony Dixon 3-piece flute (DX030) with the additional whistle tip. I got it last Christmas time and did not very much headway with just the flute mouthpiece. I got the whistle mouthpiece a week or two ago, and its like a whole other instrument!
