  • @SPOT187 Well sorry but it is an awful place! I agree that everyone deserves dignity and you should be proud that so many people reached out to help. I thought(for once) that the media helped this horrible situation. Let's hope something positive can come from this but don't criticize people who sincerely want to help.

  • I know he meant well, but to me it seemed a bit demeaning on how he constantly stated how poor & awful Haiti was. I am speaking as a haitian descendant. I know Haiti is not a rich country & they certainly need help, but everyone deserves dignity. I feel the media could have covered the entire story differently, I feel they should have put more emphasis on the factors that lead to Haiti's impoverished state instead of stressing on how pitiful a place it is.
