Thank you for this post. In 2005 Braulio Baeza said this of Chateaugay "He is dear to me because he was my one Kentucky Derby winner. I will never forget that race. I still get excited when I remember it. Everything worked out perfect."

The Belmont was the 7th race on the card that year. In 2010 it was the 11th.

This is wonderful footage of Chateaugay -the great son of the champion Swaps ! He sure gave his best and ran an excellent race here :) Fun to watch ! Thank you for taking the time to post this race for us :) I can't wait to watch the Belmont this year !
