Tom Morello's Justice Tour 2009 Seattle

Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello's sends his first video dispatch from Justice Tour 2009. Tom's solo project, The Nightwatchman takes the message of Social Justice on the road for the second year in a row. A posse of musicians travel to Seattle, get involved and learn about the plight of homeless youth at New Horizon's Drop-In Youth Center, then play a show to benefit the cause. Shot at the newly re-opened Crocodile Cafe, show features one-of-a-kind collaborations.

Featuring Tom Morello, Kim Thayil and Ben Shepherd of Soundgarden, Mark Arm from Mudhoney, Wayne Kramer of MC5, Boots Riley of The Coup, Steve Earle, and other special guests

i met tom in person when audioslave played back in 2005 by where i live. he was the most nicest person i've ever come across too. he spent sometime talking with my friend and me and was cool to pose for photo's and sign stuff. not a hint of rock star whatsoever. very very down to earth!!!!

me to, i mean i am only 11 and i was always asked what do you want to be and i would never know. and one day i played guitar hero and played the song and i said i have to check this guy out on u tube. and now i have musical and life long goals

right on - i fully agree with Tom and what he is doing, my only comment regarding this (something shared on the phone earlier tonight with a good friend in Seattle) is that there should WAY MORE shows on this tour. i see only a handful... and i think our country really needs something cool like this everywhere. i'm hoping that this movement grows and that Tom will preside over a kind of Justice Tour lolapalooza for everyone. now THAT would be very cool...
