IBM is bringing to market a new technology called "Blue Cloud" that will change the way businesses run technology. For years, the web 2.0 environment has been perfected by companies like Yahoo and Google, and now businesses are struggling with a lack of computing power, space, and energy to deal with the explosion of web data. IBM envisions the future of business with companies taking advantage of huge "clouds" of computers to get more information to more users in less time than what's ever been imagined possible.

A cloud will be made up of huge numbers of servers that will act like one mammoth system, invisible to the programs that run on it, and accessible to an unlimited number of users.
