I always manage to screw up the ending...no matter what I do, I just can't seem to keep up with them. Aside from the glaring mistakes, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
I bought my first bass yesterday afternoon so I thought this would be a good way to start things off. I'm shocked that I'll probably end up using my fingers instead of a pick. Most of my favorites bassists use picks, and I've played guitar for a while, so I just figured I would naturally gravitate towards using one. I started off playing with one, but randomly decided to try it without and found that I really enjoyed it, and that it almost felt more natural.
...so, we'll see how it turns out. I've got a LONG way to go, but I think I'll really enjoy learning bass.
equipment used:
epiphone dot
marshall 30fx
squier vintage modified p-bass
fender rumble 15
garageband
imovie 08
I think I'll return the Fender Rumble in favor of a Line 6 ux2 pod, since I rarely just play straight out of my amp. It sounds really nice on its own, but terrible when I try to record with it.
Great song, I've known it for a while, I've got the EXACT bass distortion too, try it with a boss odb3 :)
Good work :)

Keep it up! Easy, yet hard song to play I think.
