@ZorzCZ 50% of France sided with Hitler because they knew Communism was the problem not Nationalist Socialism. youtube.com/watch?v=m6DP3ndr1x

@xgalba00 Your knowledge is errant. Hitler was the goodguy due to eliminating Jewish debt-finance. Jew Paul Warburg created this system "Federal Reserve Act of 1913" and American Jew Financier Jacob Schiff moved from the USA to Russia to finance the "Red" Bolshevik revolution to create communism. Didn't know that didja? The USA, the UK, Poland, France (half was loyal to Hitler), and many more were Communist puppet states through economy. wais.stanford.edu/Individuals/

The UK's main military threat was its navy so the UK could not do much to help Poland. The French could and the USA could have helped, neither chose to.

@kingoma61 As a georgian i tend to agree with you, even though he cannot be compared to war criminals of the last century, becouse genocide as a war crime is not only the result, it is personality and idiology, but he only want to bring down the violent militants in ossetia,so he is far away from beign genocide, but he AND PUTIN done terrible things to a country of more than 3000 years ,so you right- they shall be judged for their crimes. Departing south-ossety is like doing tatoo-regreting later.

Mikheil Saakashvili is a war criminal who is guilty of attempting to commit genocide against the South Ossetian people. He should be hanged as a war criminal. Why create a Greater Georgia? Give the Ossetian people independence and freedom. Moreover, Saakasvili is a CIA puppet and a stooge. He is a genocidal, psychopathic CIA clown. He once ate his own tie. He also said he defeated the Russian Army. He belongs in an insane asylum. I support a free and independent South Ossetia. No more Munichs.

As far as I know, the Germans did not penetrate through the Maginot line, they actually went round it (they led their attack via Belgium). They improve the possibilities of defence, as well as natural obstacles (mountains, rivers etc.) do.
Forts can be useful if they are properly used, i.e. built in suitable areas and, of course, the army must not rely only on them. The Czechoslovak fortifications were successfuly used by Germans against the aadvancing Russians in 1944.

yeah right. Remember what happened to the Maginot line in France? defended forts are not a part of modern warfare.
I'm feeling ashamed. We should have attacked Germany at that time. Our honnor would have been saved and perhaps France could have better fought against nazis. Sorry for the Tcheks.

That's the only worthy post so far and some idiot thumb downed it. Congratulations to everybody else on jumping on the bandwagon, though.
Chamberlain didn't kill those innocent people. He'd obviously been given reason to legislate for Hitler, too. Megalomaniacs are difficult to legislate for.
