William Hopper (John Henry Jordan in this episode 17) went on to fame in the the tv -hit, Perry Mason, as "Paul Drake", Perry Mason's private detetive in that series .. Hopper was eventually nominated for an Emmy Award. A little known fact is that William Hopper was Dennis Hopper's (i.e. Easy Rider, among other things) distant cousin.

@alounsbery Because, it would be out of character for Jordan to rob without making absolutely sure he won't get caught. He always planned in advance. Oh and, that card dealer didn't exactly look like a push over either...

Why wouldn't Jordan have just robbed the man who won all of his money at cards? If I were Marshal Dillon I would have put Chester on "watching that guy" duty as soon as he left the jail, since he would be a prime target for both robbery and revenge at the hands of Jordan.

I love it how Marshal Dillon says "you folks" instead of "you guys". It's much more authentic.
