Here's the famous, pseudo-barbershop arrangement of "Scarborough Fair"! Sung by my quartet "Rendezvous" (formally known as Aural Fixation, changed for competition reasons) and some other gentlemen studying music at Humber College. This was a rehearsal for Danny's (daniscool99) minirecital and oddly enough, the only rehearsal with all 8 people present, so we just decided to take a video just in case the actual performance sucked.

Tenor 1: Danny Fong (daniscool99)
Tenor 2: Matt Monopoli
Lead 1: Brodie Cuff
Lead 2: Bram Zeidenberg
Bari 1: Jordan Elgie
Bari 2: Me
Bass 1: Dean Lauderdale
Bass 2: Calvin Frank

This whole group was thrown together with only a couple rehearsals so we still needed sheet music and there are mistakes made, yadda yadda yadda. Anyways, hope you enjoy. Sound recorded with my iTalk mic and synced to the video.

  • @SJRogers yeah surely lol

  • This is AMAZING I literally just spent 2 hours replaying this more than 50 times! If there is any way I could get a copy of the sheet music i would be eternally grateful b/c I am also in 2 quartets called The Harmaniacs and Crossfire and this sounds like a perfect song for both quartets!!!

  • seems like a great gathering of students...very nice job...voices are blending extremely well and the heart of it all (i.e. the song ; scarborough fair) makes for a wonderful chance to show case the sounds of a well conceived performance with rich voices and a great harmony to put this particular video well over the top of most , if not all who tried it before. Great job of organizing and bringing the best of the best to the stage.....loved the great sound...very nice job.

  • that last cord.... it was to beautiful! You are amazing and so talented and the space you where in really blended everything well. I cried after that last cord. So beautiful. Please if you can give me the sheet music for this I would be eternally grateful.

  • great harmony ....wish I had it too.

  • Brodie at 2:27 By far my favorite note in the entire thing.

  • i did this with my choir. great job!!

  • Is the arrangement that Vocal Spectrum does?

  • I just love this - tight harmonies and great voices all!

So - I'm from England - this is an English folk song - my only gripe is the pronunciation of 'Scarborough' - which is pretty damn important!

It really isn't 'Scar-bur oh' - its much more like 'Scar-ber-uh'

In English English '-ough' is pronounced '-uh', not '-oh'.

Anyway, love the vocals - and thats whats important!
