  • Not trying to burst your bubble friend, but wielding an expensive camera in the middle of Cape Town may have bad results if a group of thugs decides they want it. Take my word for it. I was born and raised north of Joburg and have found that this will happen if you are not careful. Otherwise, enjoy our country, and ALWAYS CARRY A GUN.

  • @ufofan1980 You're right about an expensive camera. Luckily I had a cheap hand-held that fit into my palm and practically disappeared from site. I did have one off moment in dt Cape Town, but it was from a white European young man who was trying to scam us for cab fare to his embassy. Yeah, right. Another tip for travelers: try to stay in a larger group as there's a bit more safety in numbers. Thanks so much for watching and your comments!

  • is she from usa.

  • I believe the men and women at the market are all from Africa. I'm from the USA (taking the video) and my friend in the blue and black striped shirt lives in the US but was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Thanks for watching!

  • Ahh i remeber this place as if it was yesterday. i was 4 my mother 40 and i would always buy fish and slop fries eat and give it to the less fortunate

  • Must laugh. This offered stuff were largely made in China. South african markets are flooded with that stuff. A nice tourist trap, better avoid that place.
