@TaciturnEternity I don't think it matters if it being played with or without the accompaniment.....it did sound different but still doesn't matter.

Hello Christel, I don't know how much have you improved your cello playing since this recording you posted but I would like to give you some advice. First make sure to read carefully the whole pice, you made many mistakes in some emblelishments. Second, your tempo is not steady, you change tempo duing the movement, practice with metronome. And third and most important, work a lot on your intonation. Best wishes!.

@felicello1 I was about 19 at that time, a freshman in college. I'm now 26. I practiced that piece in a matter of a couple days before that performance, knew nothing about the piece, received one lesson of coaching for it. I know it's not right but I don't care lol. Thanks anyway.

@EyesDntLie Stylistically it's all wrong. This was recorded 7 years ago for a last minute thing. And it's being performed without the piano accompaniment. But for someone who's never heard the peice before, it sounds pretty good.
