The Girl Next Door (A Jonas Brothers School Series) Episode 3 Part 1

Word had spread quick about Brittany and Joe, so quick that Kevin and Nick had heard about it before Joe could even make his way back to them.

Kevin: Man Joe, heard you dumped Brittany hard
Joe: You already know about that?
Nick: The whole school knows about it
Joe: Nothing is secret around here anymore
Kevin: Tell me about it
Nick: Did you get to talk to Jen?
Joe: Ya I did, and we were really enjoying ourselves, until Brittany showed up and ruined it
Kevin: I never liked her
Joe: Honestly neither did I, I guess I just liked how she looked. Plus I was getting a little desperate to have a girlfriend
Nick: A little? Please
Joe: Ok so alot, but that doesnt matter now, I found Jen and Im gonna ask her to be my girlfriend, that is if she's still talking to me
Kevin: You mean you already screwed up with her?
Joe: Not exactly, cuz when I was talking to her is when Brittany came up and just planted one on me right there in front of Jen. And when Jen was walking away, I could tell that she looked hurt. So I dont know if she'll even talk to me right now or not.
Nick: Man, schools only been in for like what 2 hours and you've already fallen in love with one girl, broke up with another, and then made the other one upset. I think thats a new record
Joe: Not now Nick
Nick: Sorry
Kevin: Are you gonna see Jen anymore today?
Joe: Ya i've more than half my day with her
Nick: Do you have first period with her?
Joe: I dont remember, I think I do
Nick: Sit next to her, that way you can talk to her
Kevin: Unless the teacher is a real snob and wont let you talk or sit wherever you want, I hate those kind of teachers
Joe: Ya me too, but ok, I'll sit next to her

**Warning Bell ringing**
Nick: Good luck bro
Joe: Where's your first period?
Nick: Gym, I've got weight training to get to. Bye
Joe: Ok bye. What about you Kevin?
Kevin: Um lets see (looking at his schedule)...What!!!
Joe: What is it?
Kevin: Look at this (handing Joe his schedule)
Joe: (bursting into laughter) They put you in Home Economics!!! Thats too funny!!!
Kevin: No its not! I cant go in there, thats a girly class
Joe: (still laughing and talking at the same time) So......go.....change.....your.....schedule.....hahahahaha
Kevin: Stop laughing!!!
Joe: Ok, i'll try to stop
Kevin: Thank you
Joe: (cant hold it in anymore and laughs again)
Kevin: Ugh you're no help (storming off to the office to get a schedule change)

Joe laughed all the way to his Algebra 2 class. When he got there he saw that Jen wasnt in there yet. He went in and sat down anyway, maybe she hadnt got switched out of the class.
Joe: (to himself) C'mon Jen hurry, you're gonna be late on your first day. Ugh I shouldve stayed with her and made sure she got here on time. Stupid Joe stupid!!
Right as the final bell rang, Jen ran through the door, just in time.
Teacher: You're late
Jen: I know, im sorry, this is my first day here, I didnt know where to go
Teacher: Fine, but dont make a habit of it
Jen: Yes ma'am
Joe: Jen! Over here
Jen: (smiling and going over next to Joe)
Joe: Hey im really sorry about what happend earlier, I've been meaning to end things with Brittany for awhile, I just never got around to it. Forgive me?
Jen: Ya I forgive you, I was just kinda shocked that you had a girlfriend cuz you never mentioned her over the summer
Joe: Ya im sorry about that too. I guess it was because I was trying to forget about her and not wanting to bring her up in a conversation
Jen: I can understand that
Joe: Good. And another thing, im sorry for not staying with you, I shouldve been with you and shown you where to go.
Jen: Ya, its ok though. You can help me get to all my other classes. I showed some teacher the map I got and they said that all the classes had been switched around so I couldnt really use that map, so now I have no clue where to go.
Joe: Ha ha, well I'll show you where to go then. Just think of me as your escort
Jen: (smiling) Ok
Joe: (smiling back and blushing a little)
