It's just...I don't know anything...About my family...About where I was from...About myself...I don't have a name....So where do I exactly belong in this world?
I found myself to wake up in a place that I've never seen before. They called it the Land Of Fate. It was raining...That much I knew...I felt my hand move involuntarily to my neck and I felt something wrapped around it. I looked down to a necklace that possessed a locket. I opened it up to see what was inside. It revealed a picture of a beautiful woman on one side...She was my mother...I was sure of it. There was no picture on the other side...
I closed the locket and gripped it so tight as I felt the tears of loss and confusion fall down to my cheeks.
"Selena..." I heard someone whisper. I was in a cold, dark alley...I saw someone's façade at the other end of it.
"Who's this...Selena...you speak of?" I decided to say but it was so hard to let one word slip out.
The shadow which I knew now was a young man...Came closer...I cowered because I was afraid of his intentions.
"Hey...Don't be scared," his voice tenderly assured me. I could trust him.
"I don't...know who I am...Do you know who I am?" I asked him.
"...Sort of.." I could barely hear him from the thrashing rain that fell down on the solid concrete.
"My name is Selena?" I assumed that it was my name since he called me that.
"Yes...And you're not from around here..."
He finally stood right in front of me as I raised my head from laying it on my knees. His hand wiped the tears that fell from my cheeks.
"Why am I here, then?" I whispered.
I heard dead silence as the rain continued to fall. It was so dark that I couldn't see the boy. He was tall and lean and I felt some sort of protection when I was with him.
"...It was the only way you could escape..."
"Escape from what?" I didn't care about how little I knew. I needed answers.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps inching closer and shadows growing nearer to this alley. I sensed danger immediately.
"Where could she have gone?" I heard someone say.
"We must find her..." Someone else said, desperately.
"Before it's too late..." The first stranger said.
The boy turned to see the shadows and he looked back at me...I could tell he was anxious. "W-we have to go!"
'Why?!" I said loud enough through this rain.
But before I could protest, he pulled me up and we began running away.
"Where exactly can we escape?" I asked him, "The only other way out is through where those guys are."
"I'll show you," he wore a cloak around him to shield himself from the rain so it was impossible to know what he looked like.
He wrapped his arms around me. So warm...I was so...small...compared to him. I felt my cheeks burn a little. This feeling...seemed very strange...but I couldn't help but be curious towards it.
"Hold on tight," he said as he revealed his smile. The rain was ready to let up and as the clouds were ready to fade away, the moon began to show itself again.
We were flying! What is this? It's impossible. We flew up to the roof of a building. I was so scared that I shook a little.
"Hey," I heard him say.
I looked up at him, fear in my eyes.
"You're fine with me," he calmly said, "Believe in me."
His words always seemed to touch me. I trusted in him for sure. I leaned my head into his chest as I held on tighter.
We made it up to the roof. And who seemed to be our pursuers were going in another direction. So I felt that I was safe...for now.
The rain stopped. I crouched because I felt so afraid that we could still be found. I felt like something was after me...Ever since I opened my eyes into this unfamiliar place.
"You okay?" I heard him ask me. I opened my eyes to look up at him. He was taking off the hood of his cloak. His hair was as dark as this cloudy night. Pitch black. But it shined against the incoming moonlight. Tousled and...beautiful. His eyes told a different story. They were so unfamiliar. As unfamiliar as this place. His eyes were dark violet that revealed nothing to me about who he really was. All I knew was that he was here for me...
"Yeah..." I got up and began drying my hair from the rain. It was long...and light brown...I didn't know how I looked like. My heart stung a little. How could I not remember anything...My eyes began to widen...
"You don't know anything, do you?" He said, sadly as he stood in front of me.
"No..."
"You're lucky that I do," he said.
"How?" I looked up at him. He looked not too older than me but he acted so independent...on his own...
"I just know things..." He mumbled.
"Selena..." I said.
"That's your name. Selena Lockhart."
"I..."
"You're wanted around this entire city," he said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper.
It had a picture of me on it. The sign read Selena Lockhart...Wanted Dead...Or Alive.

Okay i love the plot of the story if this was an actual book i would def. Go out and read it. It was really good, keep it up! Tell me where u upload the stories cause i would love to read them
