From Fall 2007 tour. The amazing Vinnie DiMartino played this song "Aim For The Heart" on a couple of nights on our tour which included several stops in Kentucky where he teaches at Centre College in Danville. The trumpet section got to hang at his beautiful house one evening - a highlight of the tour!

  • me (15 at the time), my mother, sister, and firend were at the this show, and it was wonderful! we would really love to see them again sometime, it was something all of us could enjoy, and we also enjoyed talking to them and meeting them. they are a really great group. <3

  • outstanding trumpet playing, very nice--great sounding ensemble, as always, sorry, but very poor arrangement. That is, it's got the licks--and adequate voicing too, but nowhere to go--beginning and ending are scatterbrained--too much going on too soon. A key change would have been nice and added needed energy for a more robust ending with some kind of focus. Anyway, Vinnie is amazing!
