My friend and I did a re-make of the 2008 U.S. Nationals in St. Paul, MN and made fun of the "rivalry" between Evan Lysacek and Johnny Weir. They made history at this event by tying in total points; however, Evan won the title because he won the Freeskate.
The main part of our program is when we each skated to a 30 sec. clip of their program music & immitated their skating style! We deeply respect both skaters, so it was very hard to do this in a tasteful manner. They are both such talented skaters. **Note: This was a different version of "Tosca" than what Evan really skated to. (see my other youtube video w/out titles & pictures; just the program)
*As of January 2010* At the 2010 National Championships in Spokane, WA, Johnny Weir informed us that he and Evan saw this video! Glad you liked it!! A new performance is coming soon!
