Even though I agree with you that the congestion charge is bullshit, European laws do not apply to Britain AT THIS LEVEL, so that argument about EU laws is invalid.

London will learn from its mistakes. Tolling vehicles for entering the most profitable region will just encourage companies to leave that area, and people will stop doing business there. Why would someone drive downtown to buy something when they could drive somewhere else

I hope they enforce it here in America. We produce most of the world's pollution and it would help clear it up. I live in Houston and the congestion gets really bad, making pollution worse.

Sure they should introduce a "just" system that is within and under the strict regim eof law and NOT for financial benefit of scammers and individuals who believe they are worth millions for introducing a scheme. Fairness for everyone. There are MUSCH better ways of pollution reduction. See the far east scheme. Certain cars NOT to travel on certain days. Wow...such a simple non profit making idea
