1997 Mustang GT with HID headlights installed

This is MobileHID's 5000k kit. The car already has crystal Clear headlights installed from a 94-98 Cobra. I adjusted the headlights down slightly to compensate for the additional light output to be considerate of other drivers. It is normal for the lights to appear blue for a few seconds when first turned on. The 5000k is almost pure white with the slightest blue tint, the same color range as many BMW's.

man do i got a question hey after i installed my hids on my 98gt the car lights work but when i try turning the car on it dosent evene want to start? like the starter wont even go. it just drains all power well if you have any idea let me know thanks.

@george3681 sounds like you have an electrical short. Or you killed the battery by running the lights with the car not running. Have you tried jumping the car or replacing the battery?

only a couple times in about 6 months. I have them aimed down a little extra. I think the contrast of the 5000k HIDs vs the oem fogs made people think my high beams were on.  I leave the fogs off now and nobody flashes.

@USAOwnz twice since I had the kit installed a year ago. I think some people might be thrown off by the white/blue-ness of the light vs them being aimed too high. I live in the boonies where some people have never seen HID's before.
