Ironmind Super Squats Hip Belt - Highly praised by IRONMAN magazine, this system is probably the best solution for everyone whose back keeps him or her from squatting with a bar. Our Ironmind Hip Belt puts zero stress on the lower back and spine because the weight is supported by the hip structure; yet it allows you to squat, and you know that squatting is essential for building might and muscle.

This is also the answer for anyone looking for an extremely safe squatting system (the weight is always under you), and for anyone who is looking for ultimate lower quad development.

In addition, you can use the belt for weighted chins and dips, along with pulling the Power Sled. And for powerlifters or all-rounders who are interested in hip lifts, there's no need to worry about whether this belt is strong enough--it holds 3,500 pounds with ease!

  • 50$?... yes

    170$?... no way

  • aren't these for women?

  • .gripups.com/Blog/

  • bottom line. there is no way this is worth $160 and apart from that, if your back is in pain, it's due to hypertonus, nothing to do with discs atall, educate yourselfs on it, or check out Brian Bronk labackandbody and get your soft tissue re-conditioned! and get back to normal squatting. I was doing legs with a £20 weightsbelt, long chain and a padlock with key in it before belt eventually gave way, wish i'd just bought a better belt now

  • do you use plates for chins?therefore hitting on the straps abilites, i.e. lengths et cetera plates are all different sizes, a loaded DB? ...........................the irony being, my lower back is now throbbing a bit due this super duper belt

  • spent ages trying to get used to it this morning and it was doing my head in, christ, you'd end up buggering your back before you've done a rep with all the pissin about. For the price it cost! best thing to do with it would be to use a a large DB and load it up but again I never bought it for that, flaw # 3 it's ok for chins but again your looking for the best way to load and again, there is no clear defined path to do it, for $157 I want something better im afraid and it is def flawed

  • Just bought one of those and i' m a bit confused, you have to start from near below parallel so just how the f can you even begin your set????? with any leg exercises you always start from legs locked out, at your strongest point, with this its the opposite, i'm regretting buying it tbh, ever notice why you see strongman pics of them using plates and not the bar. Another thing, trying to balance the fecking thing is a bore as the clips dont always match up on either side, flaw number 2

  • buying it

  • lol
