It records on a DVCAM tape. The format depents on how you capture..

Nice shots and editing!!! I'm looking seriously at this camera, but, (and I say this cautiously), it alomst looks a little "soft" on the focus, albiet, you might have used some filters or something. In some ways I like that, but in some instances, I'd like to see more shapness,or "crispness" in the picture. Hmmmmmmm!!!!!!!! I'd like to see some shots of people on a bright sunny day, and see what it looks like. Marc Trainor.

Hé Marc,
There is no filter on this video, but al the other video's on my account are filmed with the PD170! So you can watch the others if you want to see more different shots.

Hé, thank yoy! The software I used was Adobe Premiere Pro SC3, I always use that program ^^
