  • The only 'good' thing in this scene is Chazz Palminteri's (Coolidge) performance. -A

  • LA Confidential's OVERRATED...???!!! whatever u been smokin...QUIT IT.

LA Confidential's the way this type of movies ought to be done...ALWAYS. that horrible Black Dahlia just proves my point. and Mulholland Falls...though it's got the potential to be a great one..it ends up to be too convoluted and the only good thing left bout it is JENNIFER CONNELLY's stupendous boobies.

the upcoming Gangster Squad with Sean Penn and Ryan Gosling hopefully could achieve what MF should have in the first place.

  • @diamlierx

I think L.A. Confidential is horrifically overrated, it's got rubbish actors and has a stupid gunfight at the end.

  • @degree7 well it came out around the same time as LA confidential which is much better film same thing with the losers coming out the same time as the A team or the matrix and Equilibrium its never good to put films that are that much alike its always bad

  • I don't get all the hate for this film, I think it's got a pretty good climax.

  • does anyone else get that what the army did to allison was just an advanced version of what the hat squad did with pushing the gangster off the cliff.

  • this guy always dies in his flims

  • To JoeDAngelo: It IS possible to not feel pain in a very stressed situation, because of adrenaline (have you ever played sports and being smacked about severely during the game, afterwards bruised, but not at all remembering the ocassions whence the hurt emanated?). Maybe shock and the damage of nerves. In some literature on war experiences you actually see those things happen. Still, I don't think that scene is very well directed or acted.
