Mark Byers assaults supporter / attorney at West Memphis Three hearing!

Status: The Arkansas Supreme Court ordered a hearing as to the evidence that has emerged over the past 18 years regarding Jason, Damien and Jessie. The hearing is set for December 2011 in front of Judge David Laser.

More DNA tests came back in July 2011 - another 14 items and (once again) no link to the WM3.

This case is an embarrassment to our entire legal system.  These guys are obviously innocent. The original trials were an absurd joke; fear mongering nonsense instead of proof. DNA cleared them in 2007. Stepfather Terry Hobbs killed them; his lies and his DNA make it obvious. He was the last one seen with the boys alive...

Mark Byers is the number one suspect. He handed over a knife with his & Chris's DNA. His wife reported sexual abuse a week before they were killed. He has been lying and changing his story the whole time. I don't see why everyone is hanging Hobbs over a hair that is transferred easily from one area to the other.. like a shoestring. And this guy has DNA and sexual abuse lingering in his home unnoticed.

@Jacindalee1978 Thanks for sharing, but you need to check the facts. Go to the blackboard - link is the first line of video intro. The Kershaw knife had a blood type on it, not DNA and modern testing show that it doesn't implicate Mark. Melissa (his wife) didn't accuse him of sexual abuse - that's just not true. Mark hasn't been caught in lies. There's a WHOLE LOT MORE than 1 hair implicating Hobbs - go read up at the blackboard and you'll see. JUSTICE FOR 6 = FREE THE 3 & ARREST THE 1.

Melissa sure did accuse him of sexual abuse. It is documented. I know everyone wants to cheer Byers on right now because he is such an influence getting WM3 out... being a victims "father" is influential when proclaiming WM3s innocence but Byers is running a circus right now. He is setting up any illusion to keep himself from being under scrutiny. And to say he has not been caught up in lies and acting like a complete media whore is ridiculous. I don't think Hobbs did it.

@Jacindalee1978 Take the time to go to the wm3blackboard (link in video intro). READ HOBBS' DEPOSITION TRANSCRIPT. Read his Dimension Films interview. Read the affidavits of the neighbors (2 of them) who saw Hobbs with the victims on 5/5/93 - when Hobbs said he hadn't seen them all day. Read the inconsistencies that lead Mark to accuse him (trying to use Mark as an alibi, changing time he saw him). Read it all.... THEN add the DNA ... and the contrasts with Jaboby's statement. READ UP.

It is crucial that Terry Hobb's DNA has been found on the bindings, but I still think John Mark Byers has something under wraps. Why did he lie so much in the two Paradise Lost films?

@LewEngBridewell Mark's behavior was off - no doubt about it. I think it was because he lived through every parent's worst nightmare and then honestly believed for 12 years that the right guys had done it and people were being suckered into thinking otherwise. That's too much to ask anyone to handle. I'd urge you to come and meet him yourself on the website he co-runs - he's not offended by questions like the ones you're asking - there's a link to the Blackboard in the into to the video.
