10john01, I think that most great artists have a wide variety of influences, it just takes time for all creative possibliities to be expressed, and sometimes you're locked into a particular band and setting.

I like this song - it has good energy. I saw a video of Scott singing this live and he was clearly enjoying it so I came to hear the studio version. Thanks for posting it. One thing I would say about the current version is that the vocals seem to be a little far back in the mix imho. I can imagine a version with a more rock guitar sound - less sugary pop style - and vocals more up front that would be fantastic!

Such and interesting musical transition Scott has been through. If you were to listen to STP's Core album you would never guess that he would end up here. This new album has such and unique energy to it... Tripy! It might take a while for me to digest it properly, understand where his is coming from ya know...!
