ok..so I live in Manchester, New Hampshire..today is 9-24-09. My regular hummers are gone today! I'll leave my feeder up..I usually get a few visitors, but I am missing them already. Waiting for their return next spring!!!

We have two hummingbird feeders in our back yard and had wondered why one was used more than the other. After watching closely for over 1 week we finally noticed that the one feeder was watched and protected (Henry as I call the little Hummer sits on small fastner stub from our hardware cloth about 5-8 feet from the feeder) I now notice that he whows up about 8:00 AM and will be there all day and not let anyother hummer get close to the feeder or eat from it.

Thanks for filming and posting this amazing video! We live in No. Va and only have 3-4 a year, but we really look forward to seeing them!

This is wonderful to watch. I have just come into the world of hummers. I put a feeder next to my window. I then put a second one out because I have one that keeps chasing the others away. I feel sorry for the others. Any suggestions?

My husband has counted 21, but I've only got to 17. This is the first year we put feeders out. They have given us hours of enjoyment.

People should not be amazed you had 20 at feeders in California because there are hummingbirds living year around in some parts of California. I am sure you had many hummingbirds.
