This song describes the feeling of faith and tearful joy. I love it.

One does not simply
Listen to this song once

I definetely agree with everyone about how this isn't battle music, but if they could put "The Roost" from Animal Crossing in there, they could put any song in there.
-
This rendition does it justice.
-
The game is underrated and this song AWESOME!
-
I could imagine hearing this song during the credits, but not during a brawl.

@MrWakka66 I have never played CoD in my life, but I've played Mother 3 and I didn't cry. I was extremely touched by the story though.

This would be good end credit music for winning a game mode where you're one of the good guys, but it would obviously be awful battle music. I think it would have been a great addition to the soundtrack for beating subspace emissary with Ness.

@doomsdamnsd Exactly I may be a teen but I see that it's the same crappy 1st Person shooters. I dare any CoD player ANY CoD player to play this series of games back to back and if they don't cry then they are messed up.

Final Fantasy doesn't have anything on this, and I can't believe I'm going to say it but Shin Megami Tensei may be dark, but Mother/Earthbound have you play as kids who are just thrown into the mix and have to defeat some evil being of hate. It just makes you want to cry.
I like the song, but I couldn't imagine fighting to it. D:

@HalfSquad
That's a bit of an overstatement, don't you think? I mean, yeah, it's a good song, and I'm a big fan of Earthbound, so I know the story behind it...
But think for a minute what putting this song in brawl would mean.
People are hurting each other, shoving each other off of cliffs, explosions everywhere... or if you're in stamina mode, straight up killing each other!!
Now go back to this song. Who would EVER want to associate it with death and destruction!? D:
