@ibbetsonusa I've looked into the warming and emailed a meteorologist. It appears on Wikipedia's "vostok petit data.svg" and on "rapid climate change" by Spencer Weart that the Earth's climate goes through 100000 cycles with short warm periods like the present and the rest of the being an ice age.
I think that CO2 will rise the temperature along with the closer orbit with the Sun, only to postpone the ice age. Then again the our warm period has been longer than the last four.
