@Juicingood Kind of wierd that the Uk invented the tank and had rubbish in WW2 and ONLY had 17 pounder any which way that could do any good. Russians had much better tanks - they had to otherwise they would have been defeated.

@Juicingood That's why US main AT gun was 57mm? Sherman has a 75 or 76mm... only tank which had 17 Pndr was a Firefly, Archer, Achilles and 17pndr AT gun, 90mm had a Pershing. I enver saw a Sherman driving with a 90mm. Btw, T34/76 or T34/57 tanks never fought a Tiger alone. They were trained to kill a Tiger in group by flanking it. Because of the weather and temprature in Russia The tiger turret turned a lil bit slower and the tank was slower. T34 flank with their very high speed and kill.

@nikolai2525 T34s could beat a Tiger - not a T34 on its own unless it was lucky. You had to wait until the T34 85 version or the JS2 and then you could defeat a Tiger. The Allies only had the UK's 17 pounder and the US 90 mm guns (mounted anywhere they could) to defeat the Tiger plus the Rocket firing Typhoons which could also take out he Tiger. That was reality back then.

@Tyco200 really?1st. it took the germans 2 years to push to the "volga-frontline" (Leningrad-Moscow-Stalingrad). They lost their line in 1943. The russians started their push and they were in germany and defeated germany in 1945. Maybe you don't know this, the Russians won the battle of Berlin and defeated Nazi-Germany (and later Japan aswell) before the US and UK troops even saw Berlin. 2nd. The T34 was one of the only answers against the Tiger tanks. T34 could beat a Tiger tank. Sherman can't
