  • the best anti inflamation food is green tea . fresh leaves off the garden not dehydrated in bags.

  • SATURATED FAT IS NOT BAD FOR YOU. CANOLA OIL IS BAD FOR YOU.

  • Why did you leave out sugar? One of the key components of the anti-inflammatory diet is avoiding sugar.

  • Grains are actually inflammatory.

  • @chicsingr Please tell us ....what do you eat for breakfast 5 days a week? Some of us do not eat animal products.

  • And also: Canola oil is a great CON-ola. It is also inflammatory. Coconut oil and organic palm oil are what one should use for cooking. And cold-pressed olive oil should only be used for cold foods, like salads, as it has a low smoke point. Stevia is also a great natural sweetener alternative.

  • To add to my comments,. Do not make whole grains and vegetables the basis of your siet. Grains, beans, sugars, fake sweeteners and pasta cause inflammation in the body. Saturated fats are not the problem. It's what kind of saturated fats they are. Grain-fed meats are bad. Grassfed RAW milk is good, and pasteurized milk is not. Soy is also harmful to the body.

  • This is not the true anti-inflammatory diet. This is the politically correct diet as per modern day diet dictocrats. Get Dr. Asa Andrew's book called The Anti-Inflammatory Diet.

    Do not make whole grains and vegetables the basis of your diet. It's not saturated fats that are the problem, but what kind. You want grassfed meats.

    The anti-inflammatory diet consists of grassfed meats, RAW dairy, avocados, nuts, Omega-3 rich fish, cod liver oil, probiotics, and organic greens.
