  • no amount of exercise is going to solve the problem if the brain is still programmed to eat in response to emotional problems

  • awareness of food addiction is tragically neglected, i don't know if it's because of the easy stigma of "fat" or what, but it seems ridiculous to me that the focus is always on obesity, in terms of physical weight, rather than the core problem of addiction. It needs to be recognised in the same light as anorexia or bulimia, all are eating disorders which originate from a problem in the brain, telling someone with an addiction to go get on a treadmill is just pure ignorance

  • YES. Food CAN be abused.

Food ignites a feelgood chemical in the brain and helps pass time.

  • @shabootie1111 Howcan you even make comparisons to what is achoice and what isnt? and on top of that different people have different degrees of addiction; different variations of addictions. I mean soooo many ppl are ignorant about food addiction jus like you it's appalling. Don't talk until you've gone through it.

  • @shabootie1111 Addiction isn't just an act it takes control of the persons life. It's not as simple as just saying "ohh so just excercise" how can you physically excercise if your body is so weak and your so sick from eating 1200 cal in one sitting? Do u have common sense?and what about the horrible mentall and emotional damage that rules someone's life after their binge or whatever? Its a vicious Horrible cycle and you haven't gone thru addiction so how can you talk at all?

  • @thegame3331 Actually if you eat so much food in one sitting or so much bad food to the extent that most food addicts to it depletes the body and makes thebody so weak and sick to where they can't work out. Addicition means there is something wrong up in the head so it's not just the problem of eating too much. Overall there is something wrong in the brain which messes up daily life ..from extreme delpression to not leaving the house.. You have noo idea what your talking about at all.

  • Food is an addiction. The reasons are simply because of the toxins. All the chemicals that are in them. Yes, even our healthy food is toxic. Even if you stay away from icecream and chips your meat is loaded up with chemicals. My heart goes out to you. I've been there and I'm beating this addiction and I know you can too. God bless

  • @whatevahization shut the fuck up!

  • @kittythepoo Would you say something like that to an alcoholic, a smoker or drug addict?

  • @PatriotConservative1 The light headed feeling is not hunger it is craving your addiction just like a heroin addict starts to shake and itch. I don’t know what to tell you really. I decided to lose weight after my doctor said something. I really didn’t think I had a problem because I was the healthiest person I knew ad I eat organic food and exercise every day. Just remember regardless of it all you are in the world and you deserve your place here, Good Luck.
