Normal tuning is EADGBE, for EABEBE you just tune the D down to B and the G down to E

I suppose it would, you're just in a lower octave with the D/G strings. Why not use a tuner?

D String 12th Fret

B string 12th Fret

Move all that down to the 10th fret for the D
