  • I'm not saying Yoko is a bad person, just her singing voice.

  • I can't tell you why ... the voice can be another guitar?

  • why?

  • @HoboJones10 Just noise? Yoko Ono wrote and produced every single genre of music that exists in the world today, before 1975........

  • Why is everyone bashing McCartney? Like this shit is better than what he did. If you want weird listen to zappa. This is just noise, but I guess we know where screamo comes from.

  • This is surprisingly fucking good.

  • Genius!

  • WHY WHY WHY GOOD QUESTION

  • @XenoType008 I do rate the Pistols though

  • I used to hang out with a bass player, who had no idea i was a huge Beatles fan since i was a kid, he got into the Beatles and had the nerve to state, "the Beatles were nothing without McCartney" lol... i was speechless of course. Lennon always sang about his life, contemporaneous/personal hands on material was his way to guide the Beatles and obviously he followed that spirit with his solo material.

McCartney went off into show biz tunes, tv ad sounding drivel, while melodic, was just bullshit

  • McCartney wrote many great songs, but so many of them like Martha My Dear sound like they came from the 1920's or even earlier. Nothing wrong with that, but they should have been "give away" songs not put on Beatles albums. Lennon had to let the Beatles die as he knew Paul was going into Hollywood mode, stage production nonsense which had nothing to do with "his Lennon/Beatles". I can only think of one Lennon song which had the Hollywood production musical feel to it, Goodnight which Ringo sings

  • @hobosandbuttmonkeys I'd say there is much stronger argument that is was in fact McCartney taking over the "direction" of the band that broke them apart. The mere fact that we find out that he, Paul... wouldn't allow What's The New Mary Jane on ANY Beatles album proves Lennon had to let the Beatles DIE. The Beatles were always contemporaneous when Lennon lead them, but as the years went on McCartney started including his "musical stage opera" song into the band. Maxwell's Silver Hammer etc
