Poor Globalization, always racing against superhorses! He also got beat by Big Brown- tough when your always running against multiple Grade 1 winners hehe.

Ah! I've been lookin' for this. According to the Kentucky Derby official website, it says that another horse has never stuck it's head in front of War Pass...but if you pause at 0:37, it has him in second.
But I can say without a doubt; WHAT A HORSE.

I sure hope he can go the extra distance. Is the derby the same length as the BC Juvenile?

I hope he does, too. The Derby is 3/16ths of a mile longer than the BC Juvenile, which is 1 1/16 miles.

Thanks for posting this cf1970. I'm amused at the low view count, only 267 now. That has potential to soar if War Pass approaches legend status.
I saw this race. It was July 28, the first day of the Breeders Cup Challenge. Lawyer Ron won the Whitney in track record time later in the card.
I distinctly remember missing the 1st race and rushing through the gates barely in time for the 2nd. It was somewhat disappointing it was a romp. Little did I know I had just witnessed a potential superstar.

He sure is! War Pass is the frontrunner (pardon the pun) going forward to the Derby. He's undefeated in five starts so far.
