My first animatic after taking classes in Adobe After Effects.
My illustration 'Surprised Geisha' (see my website www.lewkeilar.com) was the inspiration for the story.
The music for this student piece is the beautiful and evocative Moss Garden by David Bowie.
A metaphor for the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings I wanted to create a kind of visual haiku on the idea of encountering the unimaginable.

  • Hey Sid,

    Thanks bro!

I also have a sound mix of my own but this Bowie/eno song is just so good with it.

How are you by the way? (email me already!)

  • Not sure exactly what happened but great work none the less. Much better than my first work in after effects.

  • Nice work Lew

    I liked it.

  • Lovely images and great sounds (Yes Bowie and Eno together) One suspects that anime is a natural course?

    More please?!
