Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Prop 8 Protest San Francisco

On Friday November 7, 2008, in San Francisco a peaceful protest march took place. This was largely spontaneous and wasn't really planned -- just happened via lots of text messages and word of mouth.

The purpose of the march was to show support for gay marriage following Prop 8 passing in the election last Tuesday. Prop 8 repealed the right of gay Californians to marry.

Protests are happening up and down the state and will continue until there is equality for all.

The song is by Chris Martin of Coldplay.

I think a rally should be held at night in Sacramento and let fog horns go off for several minutes or even longer (like they did in TAIWAN not too long ago ) to maybe catch THEIR attention that we will NOT be silenced. bring ear plugs!
