@TitanicGirl23 you need to shut your mouth, Bruce is no coward he saved many countless lives that night like Edith Russel, and if you don't know who that is then you don't have an interest in the Titanic at all!
I think that this is a very good video, I am an Ismay and in fact, one of the very few left in this world. If anybody wants to stand up for Bruce Ismay, especially with the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic coming up, please inbox me from this channel, thank you.
@TitanicGirl23 He is a hero for not believing women are worth more than men. Good for him for fighting for his life, while a woman who could have taken his place, died. I'd do the exact same thing.
@Teritus911 i heard of the captain theory i doubt the ismay one however is true, he even admitted that after nobody else wanted to get on he jumped in himself, i guess deciding there is no point of him dying simply because everyone else is refusing.
@ultradumbass We're not 100% sure that Ismay simply stepped into the boat. He might have been ordered in by the Chief Officer, but I don't want to go on about that. About Captain Smith, though. There is one theory he tried to put a child onto Coll. A, but not the only or even most trusted theory. For all we know he could have died on the bridge, but I believe he simply froze to death in the water.
@LauraJayneIsmay98 You must get your facts right. The Titanic had fired white distress rockets, and while that didn't automatically mean distress, the crew on a nearby ship the 'Califorian' stated themselves that ''ships don't fire rockets at sea for nothing''. While they weren't 100% sure the rockets meant distress, they certainly had suspicions. And while I don't want to say anything bad about Ismay, you can't defend him simply because he was your relative.
Plus Joseph Bruce Ismay had not told the captain to speed up the boat where there was icebergs that was the captins decision and also he didn't think they would need so many lifeboats because there were other ships nearby and the flares the captain shot were NOT signalled as stress so the other ships had not realised that Titanic was sinking until it had fully sunk so get ya facts right @Flamorgan & @TitanicGirl23 & @JAMESFREDDYENGLAND !!!!
Well ya no what none of you know what really happened I do and I have the documents to prove it its not like the film ya no there was a lot of ships nearby and the captain didn't shoot he flares consistunantly they only did every few minuites so it was not signalled as a stress call so wheeey
