This is a short clip testing our voice actors track against our greenscreen shots of Darth Vader for our currently scrapped Star Wars Film.

  • it's good how was the voice able to do that was iyt your friend or did he use a program?

  • @anakin87654 Im not quite sure how he did the voice - I think its 50% impression and 50% tweaking with a sound program like audacity. I have more lines which I may upload in the future to disprove the non-believers!

  • There is no point in arguing with you. If your IQ is that low that you think the guy in the suit is doing the voice live, then I give up! For your info the voice was done by a friend in Australia and emailed to me, whilst the footage was filmed in a friends back garden in the UK. If you are that convinced that its taken from one of the films I issue you a challenge - find it and upload it to Youtube!

If you think this is taken from one of the films you are a moron.

  • I was roommates with this guy and can vouch 100% that this is all his own work and has not been taken from the actual films.

  • hey man can have permission if im aloud to use this video for green screen test for a star wars tribute video?

  • @neilbowyer that means it's awesome enough to pull it off!

  • they are just russians, they have that voice naturally

  • Wash you winkie!

  • "Good work commander, tell them I wish to board at once."

  • the way you said commander and board were off.

  • This is slightly different enough from Vader's actual voice for me to know that it's not "stolen" and re-cut dialogue from the films (the pacing and emphasis is different), but it's close enough to Vader in terms of the actual qualities of the sound to make my jaw drop!

I've worked with re-cutting Star Wars dialogue to make new phrases before, and any nay-sayers should know, it doesn't come out this well.

Tell your friend in Australia that he did an excellent job!
